After another interview in the little town of Pleasanton (funny story) we drove back up to San Antonio. We wanted to see the temple so we stopped by and walked around the pretty grounds there. For more info about LDS temples click here.
We met up with Jacob's cousin Lauryn and went to a San Antonio Missions game. Her husband Josh works for the team and so we got in for free and had great seats. Yay! Thanks Josh! Minor downside: we were surrounded by drunk people heckling the opposing team's players. It was "beer for a buck" night and it seemed as if us and the 9-yr. old boys sitting across from us were the only ones not drinking alcohol. The heckling was funny but very annoying all at the same time. We still had fun even though the Missions lost.
On Friday Jacob had no interviews so we said goodbye to Lauryn and Josh and headed to the capital city of Texas. First stop, the largest state capitol in the U.S. (remember, everything is bigger in Texas)

Whew! We made it! Took all of about 2 minutes so we stopped to enjoy the view of Lake Austin.

It looks like you guys did quite a bit on your trip there-way to make the most of your time!! :) So are you guys going to Texas or what??
How fun! It's such a crazy small world... Zach was mission companions with Josh! They are such a cute couple... I have yet to meet Lauryn though! Who knew?! haha. :)
I bet Austin is proud of having such a high spot. Haha. Texas looks nice. I hope to go there sometime.
