The rest of our trip was wonderful. We relaxed at home, ate lots of good food, played games, and enjoyed our time with everyone. We wished Louisa could've made it and missed having her there. We really didn't do much to write about; it was just nice to all be together. Here are some pictures...or a lot. I narrowed them down the best I could, but there were too many I liked!

We all took turns performing for our Christmas Eve "program". It's one of my favorite parts of Christmas at home. We sing carols and play the piano, followed by Dad reading the story of Christ's birth from Luke 2.

They enjoyed playing new games on the Wii on Christmas Day. I love the glazed expression on everyone's faces. Lol!
It snowed on Christmas Day!! I know it doesn't seem like much, but around here it is a big deal! I only remember one or maybe two other Christmases growing up when we had snow.
I was able to see Carole and her family again, including her beautiful new baby girl. We got together with all of the Chases one night and played games and it was just like old times. So fun! Her family was really like part of mine growing up. I guess they still are. And apparently Carole and I still think alike since we were matching for our picture. :)

We went down to see the old train depot in our little town. I had actually never been inside before. Isn't it cute?
Jana got the game Just Dance for their Wii and we had fun playing it one night. All the pictures are hilarious, but I just picked a couple to show you. Jana was the best at it, but I did beat her once! I'm not sure what Jacob and I are doing here, but at least we were in sync. :)

On our last full day there we went to explore this trail by the river. It was an easy walk through the woods, which was good since I didn't really have appropriate clothes for outdoor activities. I was glad to get out of the house for a bit and feel the fresh air.
It was actually our 8th anniversary that day (Dec. 28). We celebrated back in Texas in January. I love you Jacob!!
Well, congrats for making it through all those pictures! I'm so happy we were able to spend time with my family at Christmas. They're all my best friends and we love being together. We missed Jacob's family, but we'll be back with them next year. I'm glad to have this post finished so I can move on to the new year!
