In June, we had Katie take a few days of swimming lessons. Her teacher was Alexis, a college-age girl, whom we've known for several years. She and her younger brother teach at their family's home. We just wanted Katie to grow more comfortable in the water. They mostly played in the shallow area and later ventured out into the deeper water. I only have videos of Katie in the main pool. Alexis was very patient with Katie, especially since she cried a lot. It helped me learn what they teach kids at this age so I would know what to work on with Katie over the summer.
Katie mostly enjoyed relaxing and watching the other kids swim.
But the best part was the popsicle she got on Fun Friday!
